I found this place after walking for a couple of hours on a hot summer day and it was like walking into a little latin oasis! The empanadas were SO YUMMY! They even reminded me of the ones one of my aunties used to make! In other words, these are LEGIT EMPANADAS! And to make things even better, they had seats with power outlets so, I could even take my laptop out and get some work done. People in here are so kind and friendly, I felt lucky to have found this spot!

As many mentioned, this is hidden gem. I am mexican and I was craving for some mexican breakfast (chilaquiles mainly). MY wife found this place and we found it very cozzy despite the neighborhood it is located. The espresso is strong as it should, the chilaquiles are awesome and the birria tacos too. I live in the US and normally birria tacos are not as good as this ones. The "licuado" (smoothie) banana strawberry lack of some flavor but overall edible. The place is pricey, I definitely recommend it though.

This might be the best lunch I've ever had. Bean and cheese pupusas were incredibly hot and fresh, served with a great salsa and coleslaw. Super affordable and a hidden gem without a doubt. There is a case full of empanadas that looked very delicious and authentic. Can't wait to go back and try everything else on the menu

Adorable neighborhood cafe serving Latin American specialties. A must-try with delicious food and wonderful service. Owner Aede is so friendly and sweet, go see her and her husband for amazing breakfast wraps, empanadas, and the best horchata and hot chocolate!

This is truly a hidden gem. The staff is warm, welcoming and dedicated. They roast their own coffee in house and it’s rich and flavourful. They offer a wide selection of latin food. Everything i’ve had so far was authentic and delicious and cost so little! This unpretentious cafe is worth the detour. They have gained a loyal client! El mejor chapincito de la ciudad * good place to get some school work done as well on weekdays!

I have seen this place almost everyday since I live in the neighbourhood and finally decided to try it. What a nice surprise. Relaxed atmosphere with Mexican music, the lady is super friendly, the Aztec burrito I had was spot on with the little sauce and the latte was good. Definitely a great hide out for the winter months
